Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) cut a hole in a shower wall to gain access to the galvanized hot and cold water supply lines inside the wall; 2) cut and remove the water lines from the shower down to where they connect to the main water supply stack in the basement; 3) install new PEX piping and fittings and connect onto the main water supply stack in the basement and the upstairs shower valve; 4) test for leaks and proper operation of the shower valve; and 5) install a plastic plumbing access panel over the hole we cut in the wall.

Pride Plumbing was called out for multiple leaks on a train car's copper air supply line. We went underneath the train and soldered four fittings that were leaking. When we finished, we tested for leaks and everything was holding at 110 PSI.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a Rheem water heater producing lukewarm water. We inspected the temperature settings of the upper and lower thermostats and found that they both were set at 110 degrees. We adjusted both of them up to 125 degrees, tested the water temperature, and corrected the issue.

Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up in the home. We inserted a camera into the outside main sewer septic drain line and found that the stoppage was on the town's side. We contacted them and they came out and cleared it. We also provided a cost estimate to 1) trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) install a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) install tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been inspected and approved by the county's Inspection Department.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged kitchen sink drain. We removed the sink’s P-trap and used a sewer machine down through the sink's drain line and cleared the blockage. After replacing the P-trap and testing for leaks and proper drainage, the issue was corrected. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the kitchen sink's under sink drain, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings; and 2) install a customer supplied dishwasher (this would require us to unbox the new unit, move it to the dishwasher space, connect its water and drain lines, test for leaks and proper operation, and once we are assured there are no issues, slide the unit into place, secure it to the kitchen counter, and install its toe panel).
