Once reassembled, we tested the valve for proper working order with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the shower valve with either a new Delta single handle model or Gerber three handle model. This would include cutting an access in the shower wall, replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot and cold water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings, and adding new stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons for the three handle model.
