Pride Plumbing was called out for a broken Gerber three-handle bathtub/shower valve - one of the handles had stripped off. After cutting an access hole in the shower wall, we replaced it with a new Gerber three-handle model along with 1) replacing the valve's handles, shower head and downspout diverter); and 2) converting the valve's copper above-floor hot and cold water supply lines to PEX piping and stainless-steel fittings; tying them into the building's existing copper main water lines. Finally, we installed a plastic plumbing access panel over the hole we cut in the wall.

Pride Plumbing came out and: 1) trenched a ditch from an existing water meter to the house to expose and remove the outside main water supply line; 2) installed a new 1-inch black roll and PEX outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house along with installing tracer wire; 3) connected the new water line to an existing water line connection under the house and installed a ball valve main water cut off in the crawlspace; 4) installed a new pressure reducing valve (PRV), ball water shutoff valve, and check valve at the water meter in the meter box; 5) tested the new water line for leaks and working order; and 6) backfilled and tamped the ditch after the work was completed and approved by Richmond County’s Inspection Department.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a broken Gerber three-handle bathtub/shower valve. After cutting an access in the shower all, we replaced it with a new Gerber G004803083 Watersense ADA three-handle model (with chrome trim) along with 1) replacing the valve's handles, shower head and downspout diverter); and 2) converting the valve's copper above-floor hot and cold water supply lines to PEX piping and stainless steel fittings; tying them into the building's existing copper main water lines. We then installed a plumbing access panel over the hole we cut in the wall.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath the home. We found a leak on a polybutylene water supply line fitting. After shutting off the water, we cut out the leaking fitting and a short section of pipe and repaired them with new PEX piping and fittings. We then cut the water back on and tested for leaks with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to 1) repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink, dishwasher, and ice maker), at the washing machine, and in two bathrooms, with new PEX piping and fittings; 2) repipe and replace the drain lines in the crawlspace, going to all the fixtures in the home (kitchen, two bathrooms, and a washing machine), with new PVC piping; installing new fittings and supports under the house for each fixture; and 3) trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the home to expose and replace the main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code.
