Wadesboro, NC - Pride Plumbing came out and repaired a water leak in the yard near a Febco RPZ backflow. This required us to dig in the yard to locate the leak, cut out the leaking section of pressure Schedule 40 PVC outside main water supply line pipe, repair it with new pressure Schedule 40 PVC piping and fittings, test for leaks, and cover the area that we dug up.

Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate a possible water leak underneath the home. However, our thorough inspection found that the water was coming from an HVAC condensation line and not the plumbing. We advised the customer to contact an HVAC company to come out and look at the issue.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a Universal-Rundle toilet tank that would run constantly and not fill. Our inspection determined that the tank’s water fill valve was malfunctioning. After shutting off the water, we drained the water from the tank, replaced the water fill valve with a new Fluidmaster PRO45B model along with its above floor braided stainless-steel water supply line. Then we turned the water back on, filled the tank, and tested for leaks and proper operation with no further issues. The customer also had a water leak underneath the kitchen sink. Our inspection found that the leak was coming from the sink's basket strainer and slip joint nut. We removed and replaced the basket strainer along with a slip joint washer and tested for leaks with no further issues.
