Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to: 1) trench a ditch from the water meter to the house to expose and remove the outside main water supply line; 2) install a new 1-inch black roll and PEX outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house along with installing tracer wire; 3) connect the new water line to an existing water line connection under the house and install a new ball valve main water shut-off and new thermal expansion tank in the crawlspace; 4) install a new pressure reducing valve (PRV), ball valve, and check valve at the water meter in the meter box; 5) test the new water line for leaks and working order; and 6) backfill and tamp the ditch after the work is completed and approved by Montgomery County’s Inspection Department.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a washing machine. Our inspection found that one of the washer’s boiler drains was leaking. We removed and replaced the boiler drains (this included installing new PEX hot and cold water supply lines up through the floor and a ProPlus plastic washer box; tying the water supply and drain lines into their respective water and sewer mains under the home).

Pride Plumbing was called by the customer to come out and pump out their septic tank. We arrived with our septic pumping truck; the tank had a riser, so we removed the riser, uncovered the tank's lid, pumped out the tank, cleaned the tank’s filter, ensured proper drainage and flushing, reset and covered the lid, and reset the riser.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a Kohler toilet tank that would run constantly and not fill. Our inspection found that the toilet tank's disc flapper was deteriorated and would not seal off the tank which caused it to run constantly. We replaced the toilet tank's disk flapper and tested for leaks and proper operation with no further issues. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model; 2) replace an outside hose bib spigot with a new Woodford frost-free model; and 3) repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen and one bathroom, and at the washing machine and water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings.

Pride Plumbing came out replaced two 38-gallon electric Bradford White lowboy water heaters with two new 38-gallon electric Rheem PROE38-S2-RH95-B lowboy models (this included removing and disposing of the old water heaters; installing water heater pads underneath each unit, installing the new water heaters, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heaters' water connections, new brass drain valves, connecting the units' electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the units’ temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valves were properly vented, and setting the units to their appropriate operating temperatures)
