Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged toilet. We used a sewer machine down through a floor drain located beside the toilet and cleared the blockage. We tested the toilet and multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We inserted a camera down into the drain line and it revealed multiple bellies. Because of this, we provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the building to expose and replace the main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 30-gallon electric Whirlpool MHE2F30HS035V water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95 model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater (adding a Romex connector). Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) install a dishwasher water supply line and water shutoff valve along with making the appropriate drain and water connections underneath the kitchen sink; and 2) install a new Woodford frost-free outside hose bib spigot along with tying it into the existing main water supply line underneath the home with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a burst water pipe at a well. Our inspection found that all of the well's PVC piping had frozen and one pipe had burst. We cut out and removed all the frozen pipes, replaced them with new PEX piping and fittings, and added a ball shutoff valve. We then tested the well for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. We dug down and found a leak on a section of the black roll outside main water supply line. We cut out the faulty section of pipe, repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings, and flushed debris out of the water line at an outside hose bib spigot. We provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from an existing water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter. We also made an adjustment to a toilet tank's water fill valve due to the toilet running constantly and not filling. We provided a second cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model.
