From water heater maintenance and repairs, to complete replacement, we’ll help you find the right service for your needs. Schedule a service inspection as soon as possible if your water heater isn’t heating properly, or is leaking or showing signs of rust. Some of these symptoms may point to a relatively inexpensive fix, such as a simple valve replacement, but it’s possible that serious pressure might be building up inside your water heater.

Pride Plumbing was called out for low water pressure from a well. Our inspection determined that the well's submersible pump had gone out. We pulled out the well's black roll piping and submersible pump. Then, after preparing a new pump assembly, we inserted a new Sta-Rite S10KS10221-02 submersible pump and black roll piping (with an attached torque arrestor and cable guards) back down into the well. Next, we replaced the well's pressure gauge and used a heat shrink kit to reseal the well. Finally, after turning the well back on, we opened an outside hose bib spigot and drained debris out of the water line, letting it run for several minutes.

Candor, NC - Pride Plumbing was called out for issues with two kitchen sink faucets - one was leaking from one of its handles and the other wouldn't work when turned on. For the one that was leaking, we tightened the packing nut located underneath the faucet's handle and stopped the leak. We tested and inspected the other faucet, but could not find any plumbing source causing it not to turn on. We recommended the customer contact the manufacturer. We also capped 4-inch PVC main drain line per the customers request and installed a PVC cleanout.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking two-handle kitchen sink faucet and three-handle bathtub/shower valve. First, after shutting off the water, we replaced the seats and springs in the kitchen sink faucet. Next, we removed and replaced the stems in the bathtub/shower valve. We then turned the water back on and tested for leaks and proper operation of the fixtures with no further issues. We also provided cost estimates to 1) replace the kitchen sink faucet with a new Delta 400 model; and 2) replace the bathtub/shower valve with either a new customer-supplied model or a new Pride Plumbing supplied Delta single-handle model or Gerber three-handle model (this would include cutting an access in the shower wall, replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot and cold water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings, and adding new stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons for the three-handle model).
