Schedule a service inspection as soon as possible if your water heater isn’t heating properly, or is leaking or showing signs of rust. Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-T2-RH95 water heater with a new 40-gallon electric Rheem PROE40-M2-RH95 model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, thermal expansion tank, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater (adding a Romex connector). Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature. We also upgraded the unit's elements to 3,500-watt elements due to it being on a double pole 20-amp breaker.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged floor drain. We used a sewer machine down through the floor drain and cleared the blockage. We tested multiple fixtures for proper drainage with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the floor drain’s drain assembly and drain line through the floor to under the building in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.

Pride Plumbing was called out to install a new water supply line on an Amana dishwasher and replace a leaking water supply stop. First, after cutting off the water, we cut out the old leaking supply and used PEX piping and fittings and installed a new one. Next, we installed a new braided stainless-steel water supply line on the back of the dishwasher, then ran it through the hole in the kitchen cabinet and tied it onto the new water supply stop. Finally, we turned the water back on and tested for leaks and proper operation of the dishwasher.
