Pride Plumbing was called out for a slow-draining kitchen sink drain. We ran hot water down the drain for about 10-15 minutes, and it began draining properly. We then placed silicone caulk around a leaking overflow cap and stopped the leak.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged toilet. However, by the time we arrived, the blockage had already cleared on its own. We flushed the toilet multiple times to test it and there were no issues. We also provided cost estimates to install a cleanout on the main drain stack and to use a camera to inspect and determine the condition of the outside main sewer septic drain line.

Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) installed a new Insinkerator Badger 5 garbage disposal (this involved making its electrical connections and its kitchen sink basket strainer connection (adding a new flange tailpiece), and testing for leaks and proper operation; and 2) replaced a 40-gallon electric lowboy water heater with a new 40-gallon electric A.O. Smith ENLB-40 110 lowboy model (this included removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, wiring the water heater's electrical connections, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a toilet. We found the toilet tank's tank-to-bowl gasket was leaking. We turned the water off to the toilet, drained the tank, removed the tank, used a Pasco Specialty 439 connection kit to replace the gasket and bolts, reset the tank, and tightened the bolts. We tested the toilet for leaks and the issue was corrected. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, flapper, water fill valve, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line.

Pride Plumbing came out and repiped and replaced the drain lines under the house in the basement, going to a) the fixtures in the kitchen (sink and dishwasher) and one bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower - replacing the toilet bowl's flange and wax seal gasket, the bathtub/shower drain, and the P-traps underneath all the sinks); and b) the washing machine - installing new PVC piping, fittings and supports under the house for each fixture. We also dug down to the outside main sewer septic drain line outside the home’s foundation, cut it and added a PVC two-way cleanout, and covered up the hole we dug.
