Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter (attaching it to the existing black roll outside main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) due to high water pressure in the home (90+ PSI). We also removed and replaced the valve box and lid.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a dishwasher with a new customer-supplied Whirlpool model. We disconnected the old unit's water and drain lines and pulled it out of place. After unboxing the new one, we moved it to the dishwasher space. We connected the water and drain lines to it and tested for leaks. We then finished sliding it into place and secured it to the kitchen counter and installed its toe panel.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a Kohler toilet with a new customer supplied model. This included draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting and cleaning the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line. Once installed, we tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace a faulty pressure reducing valve (PRV) at the water meter (attaching it to the existing black roll outside main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) due to high water pressure in the home (90+ PSI).
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) dug a new ditch for a new sewer line from the house to a location in the yard; 2) installed new tracer wire, 4-inch PVC piping and fittings, and 2-way cleanouts in the new sewer line ditch; 3) dug a 9'x9' hole at the end of the ditch in the yard, installed a new E/One sewage pump system along with gravel as a base layer; 4) installed 1-yard of concrete around the pump's basin after its tank had been inspected and approved; 5) left the ditch open for an electrical contractor to install the wiring for the new pump; 6) dug another ditch from the new E/One pump system to the town's sewer tap and hooked up to the town sewer tap using pressure pipe and fittings; 7) tested the new pump and drain lines for working order; 8) backfilled the ditches after the work had been inspected and approved; and 9) spread grass seed and straw after the work was completed.
Pride Plumbing came out and installed a new PVC drain line for a Whirlpool washing machine because its terracotta drain piping had been compromised by roots. Since the original drain line was in a slab, after installing the piping behind the washer, we ran the new PVC line outside the wall and down into the main line running into the septic tank. We ran the new drain line down the wall, turned it towards the main highway, and then tied into the septic tank main line. We also ensured that it was California vented.
