Pride Plumbing was called out for a stoppage in the main line at an insulation table that uses a jet cutter. After unsuccessfully using a sewer machine, we used a ShopVac, removed a lot of debris from the drain line, and restored proper drainage.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced the hookups for a washing machine - this included installing a new ProPlus plastic washer box with quarter-turn valves and attaching the valves to the existing copper hot and cold water supply lines coming up through the floor with new PEX piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak in the yard. Our thorough inspection inside and outside the home did not find any leaks. We also did not find any movement of the water meter.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak at a water meter. We dug down and found that the union on the meter yoke was leaking, along with a nipple located between the meter yoke and the pressure-reducing valve (PRV). After shutting off the water, we removed and replaced the defective union and nipple and used PEX piping and fittings to replace a short section of the polybutylene main outside water supply line. We then turned the water back on and tested for leaks with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the water meter to the home and replace the black roll main outside water supply line with new black roll and PEX piping and fittings along with installing a new pressure reducing valve (PRV) and ball water shutoff valve at the water meter.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to replace a leaking 40-gallon electric lowboy water heater with either a new 40-gallon electric customer-supplied lowboy model or a new 40-gallon electric lowboy Pride Plumbing supplied model (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).
