Pride Plumbing was called out for no water pressure in the home and a garage. Our tests and inspection found that there was recent repiping work in which the garage's main water supply line had not been reconnected to the main water line coming from the house. We also found a water leak near the water meter due to an uncapped unused water supply line. First, after shutting off the water, we cut the main line located beneath the house and reattached the garage's water supply line. Next, we dug down to the water leak at the water meter and capped the leaking water line. We then cut the water back on and tested for leaks and proper water pressure with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking toilet tank water supply stop. After shutting off the water, we replaced the water supply stop (connecting it to the tank's existing copper water supply line going behind the wall with new PEX piping and fittings) along with the tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We then turned the water back on and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called by the customer to come out and pump out their septic tank. We arrived with our septic pumping truck. The customer had already dug up the lid and slid it back, so we just pumped out the tank.
Pride Plumbing was called out by the customer to use a water pressure jetter device to clear the building's drain lines. First, we performed jetting from the manhole near the maintenance area and cleared the line serving four pits near the front entrance. Then we jetted through an interior cleanout for the roof gutters and cleared that line. Finally, we ran water to verify proper flow and all drain systems were flowing properly before we left.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to 1) replace a leaking three-handle bathtub/shower valve with either a new Delta single-handle model or Gerber three-handle model. This would include cutting an access in the shower wall, replacing the valve along with short sections of its hot and cold water supply lines with new PEX piping and fittings, and adding new stems, washers, seats, handles, and escutcheons for the three-handle model; and 2) remove an existing bathtub/shower and replace it with a new 3-piece walk-in unit along with installing a new Delta shower faucet valve with trim (two-in-one shower head, faucet valve handle and cover, and a drain cover), PVC drain, PEX hot and cold water supply lines with shut-offs, and a plastic plumbing access panel along with connecting the new drain and water supply lines to the existing drain and water connections underneath the home.
