Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak outside. Our inspection found that a hose bib spigot had been left on in the customer's boat house. We turned off the spigot and then checked the water meter to verify that there were no other leaks and the issue was resolved. We also provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink faucet, dishwasher, and ice maker), one bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower), the washing machine (installing a new plastic washer box and hot and cold hose bibs or boiler drains), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel braided water supply lines) and replace two outside hose bib spigots with new Woodford frost-free models.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged toilet. We used a closet auger down through the toilet’s flange and cleared the blockage. We flushed the toilet several times with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless-steel braided water supply line.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to: 1) trench a ditch from the water meter to the house to expose and remove the outside main water supply line; 2) install a new 1-inch black roll and PEX outside main water supply line from the water meter to the house along with installing tracer wire; 3) connect the new water line to an existing water line connection under the house and install a ball valve main water cut off; 4) install a new thermal expansion tank on the main water line under the house; 5) install a new pressure reducing valve (PRV), ball valve, and check valve at the water meter in the meter box; 6) test the new water line for working order; and 7) backfill and tamp the ditch after the work is completed and approved by Stanly County’s Inspection Department.
Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a non-working tank gas water heater with a new Navien tankless model with a NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This would include: 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit, drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; 3) wiring up the unit; 4) ensuring that it was properly vented; and 5) lighting and programming the unit.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking outside hose bib spigot located underneath a deck with a new Prier 34.67LF-R sillcock along with tying it into the existing main water supply line underneath the house with new PEX piping and fittings. We also provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the water supply lines under the building in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink faucet, dishwasher, and ice maker), one bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower), the washing machine (installing a new plastic washer box and hot and cold hose bibs or boiler drains), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the building along with new above-floor stainless steel braided water supply lines).
