Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a yard hydrant - a tree fell on it and broke it (this required us to dig down and uncover its water supply line, bust the concrete around the yard hydrant, remove the water supply line and the yard hydrant, install the new yard hydrant and PEX water piping going to it; connect the PEX piping to the existing polybutylene outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrant, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water line).

Pride Plumbing came out and provided cost estimates to replace a non-working 40-gallon LP Bradford White MI40T6FCX2 water heater with a new Navien tankless model with and without a NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This would include: 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit (if applicable), drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; 3) wiring up the unit; 4) ensuring that it was properly vented; and 5) lighting and programming the unit.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove and replace two non-working drain plugs on two outside cleanouts and properly tighten them as not to allow sewer gases and waste to leak from the drain lines.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged drain line in the laundry room. We used a sewer machine down through the drain and cleared the blockage. The customer also wanted us to look at a loose toilet. We pulled the toilet; cleaned the wax ring gasket off; found that the closet flange was broken and ground it off; installed a new Oatey 43539 PVC replacement closet flange; installed a new wax ring gasket; replaced the toilet bolts and caps; reset the toilet; added six plastic shims underneath the toilet bowl to level it; tested for leaks; caulked around the base of the toilet bowl; and tested for stability, leaks and proper operation with no issues. We also provided a cost estimate to trench a ditch from the town sewer tap to the building to expose and replace the main outside sewer septic drain line with new PVC piping and fittings along with installing proper cleanouts and fittings per code.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to 1) trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) install a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) install tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been inspected and approved by Montgomery County's Inspection Department. We also provided a second quote to dig up and replace the gutter drain lines near the home with new PVC piping and fittings.
