Pride Plumbing came out and performed a descaling service on a Navien tankless water heater (this included cutting the power off to the unit from the breaker along with cutting off the water at the water meter, removing the unit’s skirt, mixing a bucket of water with Rectorseal 68708 Calci-Free Tankless Water Heater Flush, letting it run through the unit for about 45 minutes to an hour, flushing the heater with just water, and then reattaching the unit's skirt). After restoring power and water to the unit, we tested it for proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak at a Navien tankless water heater located in a garage. We found a leak on a PEX inlet water supply line. We cut out the leaking section of pipe and repaired it with new PEX piping and fittings.
Pride Plumbing came out and delivered one Piedmont Rent-A-Jon work port-a-jon. We pumped it out and emptied, cleaned, and restocked it with toilet paper and hand sanitizer each week it was in use. (https://piedmontrentajon.us)
Pride Plumbing was called out to install a water supply stop for a new refrigerator ice maker. The customer opted to have us install a completely new supply stop from the main waterline. We turned the water off to the house, went into the crawlspace, and installed two black roll to PEX pipe adapters and then made the water connections for the new supply stop. We turned the water back on and tested for leaks and the proper function of the ice maker with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for two loose toilets. For the first toilet, we simply tightened its toilet bolts and stabilized it. For the second toilet, we had to pull it, clean the wax ring gasket off, and since its flange was cast iron, we installed a new spanner flange repair kit (connecting it to the main drain stack), installed a new wax ring gasket, replaced the toilet bolts and caps, reset the toilet, tested for leaks, caulked around the base of the toilet bowl, and tested for stability, leaks and proper operation with no further issues.
