Job Locations and Reviews
Pride Plumbing was called out for a higher than usual water bill. We began by examining the water meter, noticing a delay in the display of gallons passing through, which only showed briefly. We thoroughly inspected every fixture throughout the home, including the main living floor and finished basement, finding no signs of dripping, leaking, or defective fixtures. Given the absence of internal issues, We informed the customer that there was no active leak within the home. We recommended contacting the local municipality to investigate and potentially replace the water meter.
Upon arrival, Pride Plumbing assessed the leaking shower and identified the source of the issue. Unfortunately, the old shower handles were too corroded and damaged to remove without causing further damage. To provide a temporary solution, we installed a shut-off valve on the shower arm, effectively stopping the dripping. We also provided a detailed cost estimate for replacing the two-handle shower valve, ensuring the customer was aware of the necessary steps for a permanent fix. Throughout the process, we maintained a professional demeanor and ensured the customer understood the situation and the proposed solution.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a Navien tankless water heater displaying error code E110. Our inspection of the unit found a plastic bag covering its intake. After removing the bag and resetting the water heater, we ran hot water for several minutes to test the unit for proper operation and there were no further issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a clogged Gerber toilet. We used a closet auger down through the toilet’s flange and cleared the blockage. We flushed the toilet several times with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace the toilet with a new Gerber Viper model. This would include pulling the old toilet, inspecting/cleaning/replacing the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless-steel braided water supply line.
