Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) after setting up scaffolding in the men’s restroom underneath three tankless water heaters; 2) remove any gas and water lines that are in the way in order to remove the three tankless units; 3) remove all three units from the ceiling area and install three new tankless water heaters of the same likeness; 4) connect the water, gas and vent lines to each of the new units and test for water, gas and exhaust leaks; and 5) set the units to their appropriate water temperatures, applications, and usage.

Wadesboro, NC - Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 38-gallon electric U.S. Craftmaster E2F40LD045V lowboy water heater with a new 38-gallon electric Rheem PROE38-S2-RH95-B lowboy model. First, after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, a HydroPro H10000 HPTET2 thermal expansion tank, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater (adding a Romex connector). Finally, we bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a loose toilet. Our inspection found that a previous attempt to repair the toilet's flange was done improperly. We pulled the toilet, cleaned the wax ring gasket off, ground off the old flange, installed a new Oatey 43509 PVC inside-fit replacement flange (ensuring that it sat flush with the floor and anchored it with concrete screws), installed a new wax ring gasket, replaced the toilet bolts, reset the toilet, added three plastic shims underneath the toilet bowl to level it, tested for leaks, and tested for stability, leaks and proper operation with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing was called out for two stoppages - one at a janitor's mop floor sink and the other at a bathroom sink. For the floor sink, we used a sewer machine down through the drain and cleared the blockage. For the bathroom sink, we removed the P-trap and drain line going into the wall and used a sewer machine down through its drain line and cleared its blockage. We tested both drains for proper drainage with no further issues. We provided cost estimates to replace both drains, down through the floor and behind the wall respectively, to underneath the building, and to where they tie into the main drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings.
