Pride Plumbing came out and 1) used an excavator to trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) installed a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the town's sewer tap at the edge of the property and the main drain line underneath the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) installed tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfilled, tamped, and spread grass seed and straw after the work was inspected and approved by Anson County's Inspection Department.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking Peerless bathtub/shower valve. Our inspection determined that the valve's cartridge was bad. After removing the valve's handle and trim, we replaced the cartridge with a new Peerless RP70538 cartridge and corrected the issue.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak underneath a kitchen sink. Our inspection found that the drain's P-trap slip joint extension going to the waste arm was too short. We removed and installed a new, longer slip joint extension, tightened all drain connections, and tested for leaks with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the water supply and drain lines in the crawlspace, going to all the fixtures in the home (the kitchen, one bathroom (toilet, sink, and bathtub/shower), a washing machine, and a water heater), with new PEX and PVC piping respectively; installing new fittings and supports under the house for each fixture.
Pride Plumbing came out, and after inspecting, provided a cost estimate to repair a well. This would include performing the following work: 1) pulling the well's submersible pump and black roll piping; 2) installing a new submersible pump, black roll piping, torque arrester, and wiring and reinserting them down into the well; 3) replacing the well's 30/50 pump switch, pressure gauge, and pressure tank and charging the tank; and 4) resealing the well using a heat shrink kit.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a washing machine. Our inspection found that one of the washer’s boiler drains was leaking. We removed and replaced the boiler drains (this included installing new PEX hot and cold water supply lines up through the floor and a ProPlus plastic washer box; tying the water supply and drain lines into their respective water and sewer mains under the home). We also provided a cost estimate to replace a leaking single-handle shower valve's cartridge. This would require us to remove the shower handle, trim and cartridge from the shower valve, install a new shower cartridge, reinstall the shower trim and handle, and test for leaks and proper operation of the shower valve.
