Pride Plumbing came out and replaced three toilets with new customer-supplied models. This included draining and pulling the old toilets, inspecting and cleaning their flanges, replacing the toilet bowls, toilet tanks, tank to bowl gaskets and bolts, seats, wax ring gaskets, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless-steel braided water supply lines). We also replaced a water supply stop underneath a bathroom sink. Once everything was installed, we tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.

Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) installed a new shower valve and diverter; 2) installed a new flange and PEX water supply line for a new toilet; 3) connected the valve and diverter onto the PEX and copper water main underneath the home; and 4) confirmed that there were no leaks.

Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking yard hydrant (this required us to dig down and uncover its water supply line, bust the concrete around the yard hydrant, remove the water supply line and the yard hydrant, install the new yard hydrant and PEX water piping going to it; connect the PEX piping to the existing outside main water supply line, pour pea gravel around the new yard hydrant, cover the pea gravel with new cement, and cover and tamp the new water line).

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a non-working 50-gallon gas tank water heater with a new Navien 240A tankless model with a NAVICIRC recirculation pump. This would include: 1) removing and disposing of the old water heater along with its electrical wiring, venting, and gas and water supply lines; 2) installing the new tankless unit along with its service valves, PEX and stainless steel water lines to the unit's water connections, copper gas supply line, gas regulator, NAVICIRC recirculating kit, drip leg, gas shutoff valve, and condensation and intake lines; 3) wiring up the unit; 4) ensuring that it was properly vented; and 5) lighting and programming the unit.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the drain lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to a) the fixtures in the kitchen (sink and dishwasher) and two bathrooms (sinks, toilets, and bathtubs/shower - replacing the toilet bowl flanges and wax seal gaskets, the bathtub/shower drains, and the P-traps underneath all the sinks, and the bathtub/shower's waste and overflow); and b) the washing machine - installing new PVC piping, fittings and supports under the house and up through the flooring for each fixture and air admittance valves inside the home where needed.

Pride Plumbing was called out for no water from a well. First, we tried replacing a dirty water filter inside the well with a customer-supplied filter but there was still no water pressure. Next, we tried jiggling the well's pressure switch and the well began working again. We recommend replacing the pressure switch due to the strong chance of the customer losing water again at any moment, and he agreed. So we removed and replaced the pressure switch, tested the well for proper water pressure, and the issue was corrected.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) cut and remove an area of the wall and ceiling inside a closet in order to gain access a cast iron drain stack; 2) cut and remove a section of the cast iron drain line going to an upstairs bathroom; 3) install new PVC drain piping and fittings and connect onto the remaining cast iron drain piping with new Fernco couplings; and 4) test for leaks and proper drainage.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove a section of black-iron high-pressure water lines and replace them with new Schedule 40 stainless-steel high-pressure water lines.

Pride Plumbing was called out today for an issue with an ice maker water supply line. When we arrived, the customer explained that he had the parts and wanted to just cap the water line's saddle valve underneath the kitchen sink. However, he couldn’t close his hands to tighten it properly. The cap was already on, so we just had to tighten it up. We did this and checked for leaks, and he was good to go.

Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the building. Our inspection of the building's two sewage pumps determined that the pumps' tank was full and the sewer grinder pumps weren't working. After manually pumping out the tank, we pulled both pumps, tested them, and found that they were both burned up. We provided cost estimates to perform the following work: 1) pump the septic tank; and 2) pull and replace the sewage grinder pumps along with replacing their floats, check valves, ball valves, and unions and wiring them up to their control panel along with making the appropriate drain, discharge and vent pipe connections.
