Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking Apollo PRE pressure reducing valve (PRV) in the garage (attaching it to the existing main water supply line with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve) with a new Watts LFN45BM1-DU-PEXXPEX model. We tested for leaks and proper water pressure with no further issues. We also provided a cost estimate to replace a 40-gallon electric water heater with a new 40-gallon electric model. This would include removing and disposing of the old water heater; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit is properly vented, and setting it to its appropriate operating temperature.
Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a toilet with a new customer-supplied Glacier Bay model. This included draining and pulling the old toilet, inspecting and cleaning the flange, replacing the toilet bowl, toilet tank, tank to bowl gasket and bolts, seat, wax ring gasket, toilet bowl bolts, toilet bowl bolt washers, toilet bowl bolt caps, and above-floor stainless steel braided water supply line. Once installed, we tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work: 1) in the bathroom, installed a customer-supplied faucet and popup assembly and installed a new P-trap and an "add-a-line" tee for a water supply to the water heater; and 2) in the kitchen, we installed a faucet (customer-supplied), basket strainer, water supply lines, and an "add-a-line" tee for a water supply line to the water heater. We tested all repairs for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out for a leaking toilet tank push-on style water supply stop. After shutting off the water, we replaced the water supply stop (connecting it to the tank's existing copper water supply line going behind the wall with new PEX piping and fittings) along with the tank's above-floor braided stainless steel water supply line. We then turned the water back on and tested for leaks and proper operation with no issues.
Pride Plumbing was called out to investigate a possible water leak inside the building. However, our thorough inspection did not find any plumbing water or drain sources that were leaking.
