Pride Plumbing was called out for a toilet tank that would not fill. Our inspection determined that the tank’s water fill valve was malfunctioning. After shutting off the water, we drained the water from the tank, replaced the water fill valve with a new Fluidmaster PRO45B model. Then we turned the water back on, filled the tank, and tested for leaks and proper operation with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing came out and ran a large Rigid 750 auger drain clearing machine, clearing up to fourteen interior drain lines, jetting each line with 3,000-4,000 PSI per the building blueprints provided to us by StarPet.

Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the bathtub. We provided cost estimates to 1) use a sewer machine down through the bathtub’s drain to try and clear the blockage; and 2) replace the bathtub/shower's drain assembly, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with a new drain and PVC piping and fittings.

Pride Plumbing was called out for sewage backing up into the home. We used a water pressure device at an outside cleanout and cleared a blockage in the main outside sewer septic drain line. We inserted a camera into the drain line, and it revealed damage from roots. We provided a cost estimate to 1) trench a ditch from the house to the town sewer tap to expose and remove the outside main sewer septic drain line; 2) install a new 4-inch PVC sewer drain line (connecting it to the main drain line under the home) along with proper cleanouts and fittings per code; 3) install tracer wire in the ditch along with the new sewer drain line; and 4) backfill, tamp, and spread grass seed and straw after the work has been inspected and approved by Randolph County's Inspection Department.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) run a large Rigid 750 auger drain clearing machine, clearing up to fourteen drain lines, jetting each line with 3,000-4,000 PSI per the building blueprints provided by StarPet; and 2) if we hit a blockage that we cannot clear, we will stop and use a camera and SONAR locator device to locate the blockage, marking its location on the floor, and evaluate the future actions we will need to take in order to eliminate the blockage.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to perform the following work: 1) remove a damaged section of a bathroom sink's ABS and PVC drain inside a wall (the vanity cabinet had been removed by the homeowner); 2) reinstall the vanity cabinet; 3) after the vanity cabinet has been installed, install new PVC P-traps, and use PEX and PVC piping and fittings to connect the water and drain lines respectively; and 4) test for leaks and proper drainage.

Pride Plumbing came out and replaced a leaking 28-gallon electric Whirlpool E2F30LD035V lowboy water heater with a new 28-gallon electric Bradford White RE230LN6-1NCWW lowboy model. First, after turning off the water and disconnecting the unit's electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines, we removed and disposed of the old water heater. Then we installed the new water heater, water heater pads, ball water shut-off valves, PEX and stainless-steel water supply lines to the water heater connectors, a brass drain valve, and wired up the electrical connections to the new water heater (adding a Romex connector). Finally, we turned the water back on, tested for leaks, bled the air out of the water lines, ensured that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and set the unit to its appropriate operating temperature.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a dripping Delta ball-handled bathroom sink faucet and a water supply stop underneath the sink that would not shut off. First, after shutting off the water, we removed the faucet's ball handle and replaced its lever, seats, O-rings, cam assemblies, and springs and then installed a new ball handle. Next, we replaced the seats in both hot and cold water supply stops. Finally, we then turned the water back on and tested for leaks with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing came out and performed the following work after shutting off the water to the home: 1) removed, cleaned, and reinserted the cartridge inside a leaking Moen single-handle kitchen sink faucet and stopped a leak; 2) replaced the washer inside a leaking outside hose bib spigot and stopped a leak there; and 3) replaced a leaking pump gauge on a well. We then turned the water back on and tested all repairs for leaks and proper operation with no further issues.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a 28-gallon electric lowboy water heater with a new 38-gallon electric lowboy model (this would include removing and disposing of the old water heater after disconnecting its electrical connections and inlet and outlet water lines; installing water heater pads, the new water heater, new ball water shut-off valves, new PEX and stainless steel water supply lines to the water heater's water connections, a new brass drain valve, connecting the unit’s electrical connections (adding a Romex connector), bleeding the air out of the water lines, ensuring that the unit’s temperature and pressure (T&P) relief valve was properly vented, and setting the unit to its appropriate operating temperature).

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to repipe and replace the water supply lines under the house in the crawlspace, going to the fixtures in the kitchen (sink faucet, dishwasher, and ice maker), one bathroom (sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower), the washing machine (installing a new plastic washer box and hot and cold hose bibs or boiler drains), and the water heater, with new PEX piping and fittings (installing new 1/4 turn water shut-off valves on each fixture inside the house along with new above-floor stainless steel braided water supply lines) and replace two outside hose bib spigots with new Woodford frost-free models.

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to remove an existing bathtub/shower and replace it with a new 4-piece walk-in unit along with installing a new Delta shower faucet valve with trim (two-in-one shower head, faucet valve handle and cover, and a drain cover), PVC drain, PEX hot and cold water supply lines with shut-offs, and a plastic plumbing access panel along with connecting the new drain and water supply lines to the existing drain and water connections underneath the home.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a water leak behind a washing machine. Our inspection found that one of the washer’s boiler drains was leaking. We removed and replaced the hot and cold boiler drains with new Prier 526.42LF-R boiler drains (this included installing new PEX hot and cold water supply lines up through the floor and a ProPlus plastic washer box; tying the water supply and drain lines into their respective water and sewer mains under the home).

Pride Plumbing came out and provided a cost estimate to replace a leaking outside hose bib spigot with a new Woodford freezeless model along with attaching it to the side of the house, tying it into the existing main water supply line underneath the home with new PEX piping and fittings and adding a ball water shutoff valve.

Pride Plumbing was called out for a kitchen sink stoppage and low water pressure in a shower. For the clogged kitchen sink drain, we removed the sink’s P-trap and drain assembly and used a sewer machine down through the sink's drain line and cleared the blockage. After replacing the P-trap and drain assembly and testing for leaks and proper drainage, the issue was corrected. We ran hot water down the sink for several minutes and it drained properly. For the shower, we determined that the low water pressure issue was due to the style of shower head it had. Also, the shower's diverter downspout was defective, allowing too much pressure to seep by to allow for proper operation. We provided cost estimates to 1) replace a kitchen sink's under-sink drain assembly, P-trap, and drain line through the floor to under the house in the crawlspace, and to where it ties into the main sewer drain stack, with new PVC piping and fittings; and 2) replace the shower valve, shower head, and diverter downs
